The renown Tibetan Artist and Monk Ven Tashi presents the online recording of his popular workshop on how to create a Buddha in monk manifestation surrounded by Tibetan flames. For the first time everybody will get opportunity to follow the painting workshop online anytime just from home.

In this workshop we are creating The Buddha with aura and halo of flames that you will paint. The Buddha represents yourself. In a meditative posture, focused on the present moment. The fire reflects to a state of purification. The flames in this painting symbolize wisdom that burns away the ignorance’s or unnecessary thoughts, leaving behind the pure mind.

During the session, the deeper meaning of Buddhist art and details of the figure are explained. Interactions and Tibetan Buddhist rituals are practiced during the art session, such as is traditionally done in Tibetan monasteries while creating murals and statues.
You will paint together with the renown Tibetan Artist Tashi Norbu, using techniques based on the old traditional and contemporary expressions of Tibetan Art.

Ven Tashi will be using his Art talents and will motivate you to paint a Buddha, bringing peace in your mind, making you feel the confidence and victory of creating!

Materials and tools you need for workshop:

– Sets of Acrylic paints. Red, yellow and white extras;
– Thin round brush size 1 or 2 for lining;
– Brushes sizes 3, 4 and Flat Big Brushes: size 6, 8, 12;
– Black ink;
-Canvas size suggestion: 50×60 or more;
-Small jar of water, used cloth or towel to clean the brushes.
